Process & costs
With an emotion-focused, structured approach, including targeted exercises during sessions and in your daily life, relatively quick changes and successes can be achieved. Each session lasts 50 minutes. The frequency of sessions and the duration of treatment depend on your concerns and wishes.
Costs
Coverage for statutory health insurance patients
Behavioral therapy is covered by statutory health insurance if a mental disorder requiring treatment is present. As a licensed psychological psychotherapist specializing in behavioral therapy, the costs are generally covered automatically by statutory health insurance.
Psychotherapy for privately insured patients and civil servants (Beihilfe)
The costs of psychotherapy are usually reimbursed by your private health insurance or state aid office after application and approval by a reviewer. However, the extent of coverage depends on your individual insurance plan. Therefore, please check with your insurance provider or aid office in advance. Billing is carried out in accordance with the Fee Schedule for Psychotherapists (GOP), which is recognized by all private insurers and aid offices.
Psychotherapy for self-paying patients
Of course, both statutorily and privately insured patients can choose to pay for treatment themselves at any time. In this case, no formal procedures are required. All necessary agreements are made directly between you (the client) and me in a treatment contract.
The current fee is €130 per 50-minute session.
Accident insurance (DGUV)
Treatment following workplace accidents or occupational diseases is usually arranged by the accident insurance provider or the designated accident physician (D-Arzt). In exceptional cases, it can also be initiated by your general practitioner or yourself. In such cases, please contact the German statutory accident insurance promptly. The costs are fully covered by the German statutory accident insurance and the Social Insurance for Agriculture, Forestry, and Horticulture.
